#39 Political Lies Win in The End
Dr. Stephen Phinney: Politicians who deceive may achieve temporary victories by manipulating public opinion or exploiting misinformation, but in the end...
LIARS WHO PROSPER
The apparent success of liars, especially in the realm of politics, often stems from a flawed logic that prioritizes short-term gains over long-term integrity. Politicians who deceive may achieve temporary victories by manipulating public opinion or exploiting misinformation. However, this approach is inherently unstable, eroding trust and undermining the foundation of a Biblical form of democratic governance. The prosperity of such individuals is often built on a fragile house of cards, vulnerable to collapse when the truth inevitably surfaces. Moreover, their actions can have far-reaching negative consequences, fostering cynicism and disillusionment among the electorate. Ultimately, the seeming prosperity of liars is a mirage, masking the deeper, more enduring value of honesty and transparency. However, it leaves a bitter disdain in the minds of the integral that liars win in the end.

THE TWINS | LIARS AND POLITICIANS
During my time in politics, serving under two separate Presidents, I witnessed firsthand the pervasive deceit and corruption that often overshadow the noble intentions of governance. The experience was a stark revelation, exposing the depths of depraved lies that dominate the political arena. This eye-opening journey ignited a profound transformation within me, compelling me to turn away from the falsehoods of this world and embrace the absolute Truths of God’s Word. Motivated by this newfound clarity, I dedicated myself to speaking, writing, and living out these divine truths, striving to be a messenger of TRUTH in a world shrouded in darkness. My mission became clear: to advance the indwelling Life of Yeshua and share the authentic teachings that bring hope and redemption to all, including in the world of politics.
My position today is that the best politicians are not political. Honestly, I seek out candidates who are businessmen who honor the integrity of the Word of God. Furthermore, I avoid candidates who tout the rhetoric of the present-day cultural script.
Obsessive-compulsive media observers.
In today’s world, it’s easy to see how many people become consumed by political debates and ideologies, often allowing these views to dominate their thoughts and conversations. However, when we turn to the Holy Word of God, we are reminded that such earthly matters pale compared to the eternal truths and promises found in Scripture, particularly truths related to the End Times’s events. The Bible calls us to focus on our relationship with Yeshua and to live out His teachings of love, grace, and humility. While political opinions may shift and change, the Word of God remains steadfast and unchanging, offering us a firm foundation and guiding us toward a life that truly matters in the light of eternity. Let us not be distracted by the fleeting concerns of this world, but instead, anchor our hearts and minds in the everlasting truth of God’s Word.
Many find it strange that I have not watched a single political debate in over ten years. I choose not to watch political debates, whether online or offline because my trust is firmly placed in a sovereign God who orchestrates His will regardless of the clamor and rhetoric of politicians. I believe that God’s plans and purposes transcend human agendas and that His divine will is ultimately accomplished, no matter the noise and confusion in the political arena. This faith and belief allow me to remain at peace, knowing that God’s sovereignty prevails over all earthly matters, and I can focus on living out my faith and supporting His work without being swayed by the ever-changing tides of political discourse.
However, I am not ignorant of the policies of candidates. When it comes to researching candidates on all levels of government, I dedicate my time to thoroughly understanding their policies, track records, character, and overall vision. I prioritize gathering information from reliable sources, such as official websites, reputable news outlets, and non-partisan organizations. When possible, I carry out my philosophy - get to know the candidate on a personal level. This approach allows me to make informed decisions based on facts rather than getting caught up in the often delusional and argumentative nature of political debates. By focusing on the substance of each candidate’s platform, I ensure that my valuable time is spent wisely, avoiding the depravity of unproductive discussions and instead contributing to a more informed and thoughtful electorate.
Recently, one of my neighbors watched the debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. She was so upset that she came to my house and knocked on my door to express her disdain for what she heard. My reply was, "It matters not to me; God knows who wins in the end." With a troubled heart, she returned to her home.
The sovereignty of God is a foundational belief in authentic Christian theology, affirming that God is supreme and has ultimate authority over all creation - including its politicians. This sovereignty extends to every aspect of life, including human governments and elections. While humans exercise their free will in voting and political participation, believers should trust that God’s divine plan is being fulfilled through these processes. Scriptures such as Daniel 2:21-22 remind us of His sovereignty:
He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who understand; He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him.
Control freaks often despise sovereignty because it represents a relinquishing of their perceived power and authority. Sovereignty embodies the ultimate freedom and autonomy, allowing individuals or entities to make decisions independently without external interference. This truth challenges the very core of a control freak’s desire to dominate and micromanage every aspect of life, relationships, and the world of politics. They struggle with the idea that true sovereignty means respecting God’s ability to manage others’ perceived rights to self-governance and self-determination, which can feel like a loss of control to them. Ultimately, the truth is that God’s sovereignty brings empowerment and liberation of eternal will despite the will of humanity and their governments. this, my reader, is a difficult pill for control freaks to swallow, as it undermines their need for control and dominance, which ultimately confesses they are God.
Is God a liar?
If He says He removes kings and sets them up, you can count on the fact that He will do exactly what He states. God is unwavering in His truthfulness and faithfulness. He never lies, and His promises are always fulfilled exactly as His Holy Word declares. The Bible assures us that God’s words are reliable and steadfast, providing a solid foundation for our faith. As it is written in Numbers 23:19, “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?” This verse, among many others, reinforces the certainty that God does exactly what He says, offering us unwavering promises to keep His word and assurance in His divine nature.
Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son. (1 John 2:22)
REAL LIARS PROSPER TODAY BUT END IN DEFEAT
In today’s depraved world, certainly, liars and deceivers often find temporary success and prosperity. However, the Bible assures us that their triumph is fleeting. God’s justice prevails in the end, and He has His way of bringing the truth to light and putting the wicked under His feet in defeat. As believers, we can take comfort in knowing that God’s Righteousness AND Truth will ultimately prevail, and those who walk in integrity and truth will be vindicated. Trust in His timing and remain steadfast in knowing the Lord will have the last word, for the Lord’s judgment is sure and His victory is certain.
As believers, we are grieved by the prosperity of liars, for the truth of Yeshua dwells within us, guiding us to uphold integrity and righteousness.
In these times when the world and its leaders seem to gain power and wealth through deceit, let us hold fast to the hope we have in Yeshua. Remember, our prosperity is not measured by worldly standards but by the richness of His indwelling life within us. As we navigate through these challenges, let us remain steadfast in our trust from within, knowing that Yeshua is our true source of strength and provision. He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us, and His truth will always prevail over lies. Let us continue to reflect His light, trusting that His plans for us are eternal, and that in Him, we will find true and lasting prosperity - on Heaven’s side. Stay encouraged and keep your eyes fixed on Yeshua, for He is the One who holds the riches of eternity in His hands.

Thank you, Dr. Phinney, for this reminder to trust in God and His Son and not the world. While we live here, we are not OF here. It takes a lot to keep going in all the difficulties we face, especially at this time in history. I am also one who does not watch political debates. I do my own studies and research. God continue to bless and guide your ministry! Wendy
This is wonderful and, in my opinion, should be read by everyone!
